A Hudson River showdown is coming to Albany’s Washington Avenue Armory Saturday night, May 21, as the Albany All-Stars Roller Derby hosts us in a double-header clash for Hudson derby supremacy.

What do ice cream and zomB’s have in common? Both of them are guaranteed to make you scream!

The Hudson Valley Horrors, zomBsquad take on the newly announced Long Island B-Team, the Rock-A-Betty Bruisers, who will play in a double header event, to take place April 9, 2011 at Skate Safe America, 182 Bethpage Sweet Hollow Rd., Old Bethpage, NY. Doors will open at 6pm, with the first whistle at 6:30pm.

The Hudson Valley Horrors Roller Derby League invites you to their 2011 season opener, “A Jam for Justice” against the Lehigh Valley Rollergirls!

The Horrors will be dishing out swift and severe justice against those who get in the path of their jammer. Objections and plea bargains won’t save Lehigh Valley. The blockers will slam hard to sentence them to their doomed fates. Those who can’t play well with others will be taken from general population and placed into solitary confinement!

$20 will get you access to the judges chambers. $10 in advance and $15 at the door will give you the honor of being subjects of the court.

As new members to the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the Horrors will continue to provide hard-hitting roller derby action. The Horrors season will start March 12 in Buffalo against Queen City Rollergirls, so get ready for some hip-whipping action as these two New York teams go head-to head. The Horrors will be facing the Lehigh Valley Rollergirls on April 16th for their first home bout at RollerMagic in Hyde Park, New York. Come out and cheer on your local roller derby team as they play their 2011 season!

Surrounded by zomB’s and Horrors, the Hellrazors will bring some fire and brimstone to attempt to eradicate the infestation of the Hudson Valley’s undead.

The virus is spreading and the sickness is moving and seeping into well populated areas of the region.  The Hellrazors only chances of survival are to hip check and whip their way through the infected pack to avoid the virus.  The zomB’s and Horrors seek to infect the living by creeping their way through the Hellrazors defenses.  It’s going to be a fright night of dead reckonings.

Those who want to be down with the sickness should find an infected Horror or zomB and make their way to Hyde Park Roller Magic, October 23 at 6pm and watch the virus spread!  Join us in your best zomB costume or a horrified Horror costume and engage in the impending Derby of the Dead.  Let’s raise some Hell, Derby style!
